“I’m the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.”
-Bret Hart (maybe)
Wrestlemania; the grandaddy of them all (as it is famously referenced) has included some of professional wrestling’s greatest icons. The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and of course Hulk Hogan, have all graced the squared circle and entertained millions of fans across the world (apparently also the universe). Now just an appearance and the opportunity to wrestle in ANY match at the years biggest event, is an honor in and of itself. But the chance to not only wrestle, but headline such a historic event? How about one further; not only wrestle in the main event, but WIN the main event. It’s a privilege that only a few in the history of the industry have ever been given. As a matter of fact it is only 18 men, in the 32 year history of the spectacle.
I guess the only question worth asking is, “who are these wrestlers, and how badly could they kick my ass?”. Well let’s take a look in today’s (photo!) article for the day:
Note: These are the headlining matches of each of the 32 Wrestlemania Events, NOT just the championship matches. Some are both, but I am respecting the steadfast rule that the main event is the last match of the card.
What you have learned today
- Hogan wins lol
- Everyone forgets WM15 existed
- I think Batista used to be into some kinky sh*t
