Dylan Roof Convicted
The (now) 22 year old who was charged with murdering 9 black members of the Emanuel A.M.E. Church on June 17th of 2015, was convicted today on 33 different charges ranging from firearm crimes, hate crimes, and obstruction crimes. He sparked a racial tensions, not only with his crimes, but also with his self written manifesto.
His sentencing will not come until January of 2017, with a decision between life in prison or the death penalty.

Ticket Bot Act Signed into Law
On Thursday December 15th President Barack Obama signed into a law making it nationally illegal to use “bots” for ticket buying, and their subsequent resale. This issue has been raised due to artificial increase of ticket pricing for live events due to limited availability of tickets.
The “Better Online Ticket Sales Act” allows legal action to be taken against any one systematically buying tickets, and ensuring fair prices for everyone seeking to purchase those tickets.

Russia Challenges U.S. to prove election hacking
A spokesman for Vladimir Putin publicly stated today (12.16.16) that the United States must stop accusing the Russian Government of meddling in the recent 2016 election, or provide proof indicating otherwise.
There have been reports by numerous state officials stating Russian involvement in the election of President-Elect Donald Trump. Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for Vladimir, today publicly denounced those allegations and challenged the U.S. to bring forth evidence of these claims, stating that it is “beginning to look unseemly.”
